The truth is that men and women are equally destructive in the matter of relationships. May not seem true but lust, following the flesh and all that it contains kill relationships like poison kills insects. We look for misguided people with a burden bearing mindset.
WOMEN are dying to be pretty and beautiful for self-esteem and to make up for a lesser mans lack of self-control. Women may feel that being married is a point of being pretty enough and men sit back all fat and selfish calling the shots. When he fails or does disgusting things he blames that woman's weight, sense of style or sexual prowess for his failure. The burden bearing woman ACCEPTS this foolishness and tries to compete with his lack of control with sexiness.
MEN try to be tough and stoic while facing undisciplined, wild and abusive women. If he chooses not to be in a relationship with this wild tiger then he is weak or does not know how to handle a (tiger) woman. Wild animals either live behind cages or in the woods by themselves. This man will brave getting bit, mauled, abused, neglected and ridiculed to show that he is tough enough. When he can't take it and confronts the tiger he is called weak and he ACCEPTS it and tries to fix it.

Also some men and some women try to love someone who does not love them back but they can't see it. Women chase married men, men, chase strippers, other women are attracted to abusive and insecure guys because they feel validated by his insecurity, men chase women who are poor and needy to feel validated and when all of these relationships fail they blame all WOMEN or they blame all MEN when they sought out less than optimal people to be connected to.
